A new species, Dilophotes niisatoi Matsuda et Lan, sp. nov., is described from central Taiwan. Dilophotes atricollis Pic, 1923, endemic to Taiwan, is redescribed and illustrated. A key to the Taiwanese species of the genus Dilophotes Waterhouse, 1979 is provided.
